Call for Special Issue:

EDaSS VII International Conference.

Special Issue on:  "Knowledge Challenges to Achieve Sustainable Societies "

The increased changes in the knowledge society and the consequences for the labour market, the organization of labour and economic, as well as the changes derived of the recent Great Recession, have altered the way the organizations and researchers use new concepts which directly imply the whole society. This special volume focuses on the Knowledge Challenges to Achieve Sustainable Societies, taking to account the three pillars of sustainability, that is environmental, economic and social. 

We are especially interested in discussions about the key issues in sustainable development and green economy; labour market, inequality and sustainability; circular economy and sustainability; and all socio-economic issues for a sustainable development that leads to the exchange of thoughts, knowledge, experiences and proposals for political actors.

 The issue will be targeted carry revised and substantially extended versions of some selected papers presented at the EDaSS VII International Conference. But other papers are welcome, and other experts are also invited to submit articles for this call.

 

Subject Coverage:

The main topics can be summarized but not limited to the following:

• Sustainable development and green economy
• Socio-economic issues for sustainable development
• Globalisation and sustainability 
• Labour market, inequality, poverty, risk of exclusion and sustainability
• Circular economy and sustainability
• ICTs, information society and sustainable development
• Good practices, governance and sustainability in the knowledge society
• Law, legal frameworks, regulation and governance
• Industry 4.0 and sustainable development
• Green behaviour in knowledge society

 

Notes for potential authors:

The documents submitted should not have been previously published or be currently under consideration for publication elsewhere. Conference documents must be completely rewritten as an extended and different version. Written authorizations must be provided by the authors, if applicable. All works will be evaluated through a peer review process. All papers must be sent through the AROEC' website and must follow the instructions provided to the authors. Spanish and English Languages are welcome.
